Grosvenor Billinghurst proudly hosted a table at the Parkside School Summer Ball at the weekend. The ball has always been a glamorous event and this year was no different. The ball was hosting a childhood cancer charity called Christopher’s Smile and fundraising was by way of an auction which was led by Headmaster David Ayleward. Grosvenor Billinghurst donated a ‘Methuselah’ bottle of Veuve Clicquot champagne which is the equivalent of 8 regular bottles/6 litres! Gareth Davies (pictured left) Sales Manager at Cobham says, “It was a fantastic evening with brilliant catering and the band were amazing. We were pleased our donation of the Methuselah went down so well because there’s no way I fancied lugging it back to the office! More importantly we managed to raise a good amount of money towards a very touching charity which deserves all the support it gets. Being an old boy of the school my father and I were thrilled to be invited back and jumped at the opportunity.” Photo: Here and Now Photography
