I have been with Grosvenor Billinghurst since the start of my estate agency career dating back to January 2016. After finishing university and working part time for a local coffee shop I decided to apply for estate agency roles. This was purely by chance as no one I knew worked in estate agency but the role itself appealed due to interacting with the public and having the chance not to sit behind a desk all day. I do what I do for the excitement and satisfaction of securing a sale for both client and buyer.
Tell us about you outside of work
I enjoy spending time with family and friends, preferably in a pub garden or around a BBQ. My main hobby is clay pigeon shooting and I am a member of the Cobham Sporting Gun Club. I also enjoy golf and am currently on the long road (or fairway) of improvement.
What’s your favourite bit of a house?
The kitchen is my favourite part of a house, not just for the food but I’m a firm believer of the old saying “the kitchen is the heart of the home.”
Fun fact
I took part in the Great River Race in my teens which is a course starting near Canary Wharf/Tower Bridge and finishing in Richmond by Ham House. It was a great day and a good laugh with friends albeit a lot of rain and strong currents.
One thing you’ve taken from the last year
Aside from dabbling in a bit of woodwork as a lockdown project I also spent quite a bit of time last year cycling around Esher, Oxshott, Cobham, Weybridge, Kingston and Walton. Something which I would never normally make time for.
