Your Grosvenor Story

Before Grosvenor, I worked behind the bar at a golf club I’d been a member of since I was 8 or 9. Dealing with members on a day-to-day basis for years really helped develop my people skills – it’s certainly not any old bar work.

I have a curious mind, and often subconsciously look at something and work out how it came to be. For instance, walking down a street I would find myself paying particular attention to detail about how each house was unique. It made me realize that I could combine my people skills and interest in houses, and thus I step foot into the world of estate agency.

Tell us about you outside of work

In 2022 I bought a property with my fiancé in leafy Godalming. Delighted that after selling so many houses, I finally have one of my own. I never realised how much time I would spend thinking about the various things that need doing around the house. I probably spend too much of my free time DIYing. Otherwise, I enjoy long walks, gaming and weekly board game evenings with friends over a glass of wine (or two…)

Favourite bit of the house

Probably the garden (I have a fantastic balcony with a view of foliage). I can’t wait to get stuck into gardening.

Fun fact

My middle name is Gerald. It never fails to amuse.

Favourite Music

My favourite artist is Royal Blood. My favourite album is Californication, by the Red Hot Chilli Peppers.

Three items you would take to a desert island

A pack of cards, sunglasses and flint
